Yesterday, I stumbled across a Facebook Marketplace lot of 90’s Hasbro WWF wrestling figures and decided to take a chance on them. Growing up I remember seeing these everywhere, but I never realized how collectible they’ve become.
After bringing them home I started researching the different series, variations, and which ones collectors are chasing. Turns out some of these can bring some pretty crazy money—especially the rarer figures or ones still on in the package.
That’s one of the things I love about reselling. One day you’re learning about car stereos from the 90’s, the next day you’re diving into vintage wrestling figures.
Paid up, did the homework, and now we’ll see how the flip goes.
I’ll check back in once a few sell and let everyone know how the Marketplace gamble turned out. 👀
Did anyone else have these growing up?

Sometimes you get lucky in this hobby — it’s all about who you know, and who they know.

On Saturday, a sports collector buddy of mine connected me with an old-school dumpster diver picker. He wasn’t exactly sure what he had, but he knew it definitely didn’t belong in the trash. Yesterday I was fortunate enough to purchase it, and honestly I’m still in disbelief that I get to hold it — let alone own it.
This winter-style wool dugout jacket was issued in the spring of 1961, just a few months after Bill Mazeroski hit the most famous home run in baseball history. Jackets like this kept players warm during those early spring games and the chilly September nights.

But this one is special.

It belonged to Bill Mazeroski himself. The jacket is in incredible shape, with multiple team repairs and beautifully aged semi-soft leather. It’s a size 46 (his uniform was a 44, so the larger jacket size makes perfect sense). Written in black on each sleeve is “BM9,” indicating his name and uniform number 9.

If this jacket could talk…
A true Holy Grail piece of Pittsburgh baseball history.
