Playmakers VT
A monthly series, presented by the Off Center for the Dramatic Arts, that features one directed stage reading and up to three cold readings of new works by local playwrights. This series is designed to provide playwrights with the opportunity to share and develop their work and see their plays interpreted by local playmakers, as well as to allow theater artists more chances to practice their craft, explore different roles, and collaborate with new colleagues.

Playmakers is a non-juried, original play reading series open to everyone in the hope of generating excitement, support, and community for new work.
There is one slot open for Playmakers next week on Monday, March 16. We had fun last month with the exquisite co**se experiment, so why not try it again? Before next week, I need three volunteers to write a max five minute part of an exquisite co**se piece with a Women's History Month prompt.
1. First piece (no more than 5 pages/minutes): Must have two characters (any identity).
Must end with the line "That's what the other eleven months are for."
2. Second piece (no more than 5 pages/minutes): Must have two characters (any identity).
Must start with the line "That's what the other eleven months are for."
Must end with the phrase "one hundred years".
3. Third piece (no more than 5 pages/minutes): Must have two characters (any identity).
Must start with the phrase "one hundred years".
Bring two (or three if you'd like stage direction read aloud) copies of the piece, and feel free to cast it and bring your actors, or we can cast it on the spot.
Any takers?
