The damage is done . . . .26 years later they finally figured it out ?
I was hired by a relative to investigate the felony case of their nephew, Valentino Dixon,
who had been convicted of the shooting murder of Torriano Jackson in 1991.
After thoroughly reviewing the transcript and
conducting several key interviews, I realized
the wrong person was locked up for a crime
he didn't commit. Many many things went
sideways during Dixon's murder trial that
shouldn't have happened had he been properly
represented by counsel. I followed the trail of
evidence that led to the most peculiar scenario
I have ever encountered in a murder case.
Someone close to my client has professed
vehemently to the police and local media to
being the actual guilty party who committed
the murder, and yet no one on the law side wanted to believe it.

Lamarr Scott provided a very credible confession to committing the crime 26 years
ago to ME during my investigation
Coincidentally, Lamarr had been one of the young men whom I coached as a player on my Randy Smith NICYO 16-18 yrs. basketball team (Champion Rentals) . I knew him well enough to discern his veracity. The account he unveiled regarding the shooting at Bailey & E.Delevan on a warm summer night in August rang as true as the sky is blue.

Another key witness for the prosecution admitted to being pressured to testify against
Valentino Dixon. . . . .
When that witness reneged on coming forward
Mr.Dixon became distraught and unfortunately withdrew from our investigation. . . . .
Fortunately, later on Roger Putnam, a highly respected PI in Western New York reopened the case and generated substantial momentum which eventually culminated with an unlikely aggregation of Golf Digest employees, Attorney Donald Thompson, Dixon's family, and others who fought relentlessly to obtain his release.
The rest is history.
God bless Tino & his family
