30 year old Latina who loves to draw pin ups and create costumes! I've been drawing since I was a tiny tot and cosplaying since 2013 which seems crazy to me because I was...am... a shy person and have never felt confident in myself until I decided to play dress up! I like to encourage others to try it even if they are scared because it has changed my life for the better, despite the community bein

Requested to see a Date Night breakdown so here ya go!
Started with taking inspiration from a night on the Brooklyn Bridge and seeing the skyline. Tony recreated the skyline digitally, this is before ai. The bat signal was physically made and then projected onto pillow fluff.
We shot ourselves in front of a black backdrop since the scene is at night, it would just make integration easier.
Regarding the first image:
The shot on the left was done to
1. figure out what focal length would work best for the figures.
2. with that choice of focal length, lens and aperture, what would be the proportions of a city in the background and how out-of-focus would it all be.
Just some little things to pay attention to when planning a big composite shot in the hopes it'll feel a bit more believable.

Also fun fact, we only painted half our face 🤣 We knew we'd never show the other sides of them so we just thought "HEY, save on time and product" 🤷‍♀️

My reel yesterday went viral so I thought it would be fun to revisit some of our big photo manipulations, starting with Puppet Master!
An original concept that was achieved by building the set with dollhouse parts, prop trickery like the string hanging from Tony's fingers and the full sized rope around my wrists and ankles; scales perfectly when I'm made smaller. Tony was shot over the handmade set, I with green screen. The roof was even a shot element from a workshop here in Brooklyn.
This was before ai.
Everything we light, made, shot, edited and manipulated. Think of it as a highly planned, intricate collage of real photographs.
