Sometimes the clinician becomes the patient. Amazing how when you are going too fast, God finds a way to slow your a$& down😳😳. On the upside, content for class, and no washing dishes for 2 weeks as per doctors orders. 😜😜Shout out to my amazing female ER physician at for patching me up🙏🏾

🚨Long Post alert 🚨

Last weekend I had the pleasure of crossing paths with people of varying seasons of my life. This solidified much of my focus on intentionality with my relationships. Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of connecting with three dear colleagues/friends of mine that happen to now work on the same staff

🎈David Hinds, Director of Player Performance for the Minnesota Timberwolves, was a former student when I was a GA at FSU.

🎈Erin Sierer, current Assistant AT/DPT for the Minnesota Timberwolves, was a fantastic classmate of mine at Hofstra University

🎈Charles Hooks, current Assistant AT/DPT for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Brooklyn native, who I have had the pleasure of working elite events with in NYC

All three people happenstance to be killing it with such a supportive organization, and I am happy to call them friends and colleagues. As I tell my students, the athletic training profession is a big/small fraternity. Make genuine connections; you never know when these connections will cross paths. I'm blessed we left a positive residue

This shout out is long over due, but its never too late. My amazing Dean was the keynote speaker, and represented for the U. Dr. Laura Kohn-Wood provided an authentic, sound perspective regarding Race, Ethnicity, Culture and Promotion of Strengths. She dropped some serious PEARLS I look forward to assess and apply for the new year.
