Hi, I’m Lorena, the owner of Belle Farms! 🤍

People often ask how I ended up owning a photography venue, and honestly, it wasn’t something I ever planned.

My love for photography started when I became a mom. I began taking milestone pictures of my son and quickly realized how fast time passes. The more memories I captured, the more I understood the value of having beautiful photos to look back on.

Then came Shakira, my baby cow. What started as sharing her with photographers turned into meeting incredible people, hosting photo sessions, and eventually creating a space where photographers, families, and creatives could come together to make memories.

Today, Belle Farms is more than just a venue. It’s a place where people can slow down, connect with nature, cuddle baby animals, celebrate milestones, and create memories they’ll cherish forever. Being able to provide that experience for others is one of my favorite things.

A few random facts about me:

🐮 A cow named Shakira is largely responsible for where I am today.
🐔 I can spend way too much money on farm animals and somehow always justify it.
📸 I love being in front of the camera just as much as I love being behind the scenes.
🥤 My blood type is probably energy drink at this point.
🌾 I always have at least three projects going at the same time.
😂 I laugh at my own jokes more than anyone else does.
🐄 If I tell myself I’m “just looking” at a new animal, there’s a good chance it ends up coming home with me.

Not sure if I mentioned this in the other post but Shakira is my first milk cow I’ve ever had. First milk animal for that matter. And it’s her first calf. So we’re both learning at the same time. But we both love each other and we are both enjoying the learning process 🫶🏻❤️
