Cave Guide Corey

Today, I took our 2 youngest to the College of the Ozarks farm! This is a very cool experience for families and is completely Free! Our favorite part was being able to bottle feed the calves. They ranged from 2 days to 1 month old. We also got to pet the show cows, and watch the milking process! The students were very friendly and great at answering our questions. They explained how the milk is used to make the fresh ice cream daily at the Creamery, among many other things! We also learned how a device on the cows’ ears was used to track ear movement and temperature to monitor the health of each cow. The info is linked to an app on the students’ phones and alerts them immediately if something is wrong. We really enjoyed this experience so much and highly recommend it! -Shera

Today is our son’s 19th birthday! He chose White River Fish House - Branson, MO for his celebratory dinner! Everything was excellent and we all brought home leftovers for lunch tomorrow! 😊 -Shera
