Renovation of The Tesseract. I am swapping out the original LED tiles for a new design. This custom PCB was designed by Leo Ascarrunz using . Made to order by SenYan Circuits. 144 APA102 LEDs and no components on the back of the board. It fits the exact form-factor of the original tiles so its an easy swap, and will natch the laser etched acrylic. Thick and fat copper on the back means I can pass many amps of 5v through the board and chain them without worrying about voltage sag (saggyness is not good).

It was a beautiful day in Boulder. My super cool roomie, Juraj, helped me add some tubes. Not pretty yet but it will be. Each tube has 2 back to back 12v WS2815 strips. Total of 6000 LEDs. that is the question.
