FIX HIGH HAMSTRING PAIN 💥🦵
If you have tried everything and your high hamstring is still grumpy at you… give this a shot!
We call this one the Sara Vaughn special. We started doing these to see if if could help her! Turns out it did. So we tried it with a ton of other athletes…guess what?
Turns out it’s pretty darn effective! I think .austin.nestor would agree!
Keep in mind we didn’t JUST do this exercise.
🔸We warmed up the muscles in the hip complex that control internal and external rotation first.
🔸Then we worked on creating length in the front line to address any reciprocal inhibition.
🔸We also incorporated traditional eccentric movement to lengthen the whole posterior chain under load.
🔸Remember it is never about one exercise. We methodically dissected the key bottlenecks that allow us to get the maximum impact of the exercise.
If you are a runner, cyclist, triathlete or trail runner strength can be one of your most powerful weapons. If coached correctly.
Don’t just do any strength. Find someone who studies the science, your sport and knows how to integrate it all together.
