not because it is, but because it interrupts what people were comfortable with.

When you choose peace over proximity,
the ones who benefited from your silence feel it first.

Boundaries aren’t punishment. They’re protection. They mark the line where you’re no longer willing to endure what once went unchecked.

Motherhood makes things clearer.
You stop accepting what you’d never allow near your children. You stop over-explaining why safety matters.

I didn’t destroy the family.
I ended the cycle.

My children truly lucked out with their father.

They have a dad who shows up fully—not just in presence, but in heart. A man who works hard, comes home, and still chooses us every single day. He leads with patience, protects with purpose, and loves in a way that feels steady and safe.

They’ll never question if they’re wanted.
They’ll never doubt their worth.
They’re growing up watching consistency, respect, and devotion lived out right in front of them.

I’m endlessly thankful this is the man shaping their childhood. The example he sets, the love he gives—it’s not something I take for granted.
