Grand Theft Audio consists of band members: Paul Giannelli - guitar, bass & vocals, Paul Candilore guitar, bass & vocals and John DeChristopher - drums, percussion & vocals. All three band members are accomplished singers, and share lead vocal duties. Grand Theft Audio was formed by Paul Giannelli and Neil Porter, originally as a duo. Guitarist Paul Candilore joined the band in 2012 and John DeChristopher became the band's drummer in 2014. Paul Giannelli and John DeChristopher grew up in neighboring towns (Paul in Stoneham, MA and John in Melrose, MA) and have known each other since 1975, in the early years of their musical journey. Paul Giannelli and John DeChristopher played in bands together from 1980 to the early 1990s, and Paul Candilore has enjoyed a long and prolific career as a guitarist, singer and songwriter.
