Hey everyone, it’s been a little while. First off, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for sticking around this page and following what I’ve been up to. It really means a lot.

I’m reaching out because I’ve finally kicked off a new project called Carrigain, based in Boston and named after a mountain from my home state of NH.

The story behind this one is pretty funny. It started as a conversation with my bass-playing barber while I was in his chair. We started talking about putting together something that sounded like 90s indie/grunge mixed with newer stoner/psych bands like King Buffalo and All Them Witches. Ironically, as I was writing the first song, he bailed to play covers (so I’m officially looking for a bassist if you know anyone).

I’ve been back recording lately, and the first track, “Back To Dust Again,” is officially out now. I was lucky enough to have session drummer drum on this one, and had David Stingle and Alan Douches at the legendary do the mixing and mastering. The track sounds sick!

I’d love for you to give it a listen. If you dig the vibe, head over and follow the new band .

The song link is in my bio—it’s up in all the usual spots, but I also made sure to put it up on Bandcamp for those of you who are not on streaming services and want to support the music more directly.

There’s a full EP in the works for later this year, and I can’t wait to share more. Thanks again for the support—it’s good to be back at it.

I know this is like a day or an hour of streams for some artists, but this means so much to me. Started this thing in my bedroom last year with my bass and my computer. Never thought I would see over 20k streams across 120 countries in the first year. Can't thank you enough for the listens, the follows, and the support. It really means everything to me. Music saved my life, and in my own way, this is my attempt to give back to a community that means so much to me. If just one of you out there enjoyed one of my songs, it made this effort worth it. Wishing you all a great New Year.

So I’m starting something new with my buddy Mike. He’s a bass player, so that means I’m going to have to learn how to play this six-string thing. He’s also not into the punk-rock stuff, so we’re going for more of a heavy psych vibe.

I spent the last week building some new tones for this project on my Helix and I’m getting pretty close. Levels need some work and I have to tweak a few things, but I’m happy with what I’m hearing so far. This is a little test I did up in Vermont where I can get loud and let it rip. 🤘

It makes my day when someone enjoys our music and understands what we’re trying to do. Thank you, Antonio!

Nine months ago, I started ARMY OF BEARS with no idea where it would go.

It’s been a lot of practice, a lot of learning, plenty of stress… and honestly, a ton of fun.

When I put out the first song, I didn’t know if anyone would listen. I was just happy to share something I cared about with friends and family — maybe find one person out there who connected with it.

This week we hit 22,000 streams.

For some artists, that’s not a big deal. For me, it’s huge. It’s proof that these songs mean something to more than just me.

So thank you — for listening, for saying kind things when I needed to hear them, and for making me want to keep creating.

In a few weeks, I’ll be releasing song #6 — halfway through the first album. I’m proud of this one, and I hope you like it as much as I do.

I still dream about playing these live.
I’ve decided the best way is for me to handle vocals and find Boston-area musicians (bass, guitar — or maybe a second bass — and drums). I’ll take care of the space, gear, and all the boring business stuff. If you know someone who might want to be part of it, send them my way.

🙏🐻🙏
