Summer’s coming! New bathing suit from my sis had me inspired to try something new with this bariuke. Decided to reverse engineer why chords G-Em-C-D sounds so good together by learning the circle of fifths.

Started with scales for the key of G and love the way the blues one fell. I think this could be what I start doing every day now that this new song—I share a verse of here, Green Mountain—feels complete.

💫 Day 31 of 100 was mentally challenging but in a glorious way!

Day 27 and I revisited the U2 song, Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking for in my folky way after playing with finger picking and some melody. My lil lady made a little debut too after she finished singing her heart out on her pink mic in the other room. Today I took my bariuke outdoors again since Vermont and it felt natural to play that way. Best day of practice yet! 💗
