I've been serving at the local level, as you know, and training folks to lead in their communities, all over the country. I am excited to bring this local and national movement building work to the next level. We can choose to reinvest in our economy from the bottom up, focusing on the middle working classes. We can choose to stand with the most vulnerable members of our communities. We can demand
We must strategize carefully and compassionately towards a new deal for America and it's marginalized communities. We must be vigilant, as democracies can become fragile when tyrants leverage unrest and militarized responses for their own ends.
