I was quoted $900 to patch this hole. $900 for a patch job! These prices are getting out of hand. I'm about to buy a bucket of joint compound and just do it myself..

2x6 load bearing studs drilled for 4" pipe.
Structural
Long story short miscommunication and misinformation led to walls being drilled for 3" pipe. Simpson does not make a 3" stud shoe. Any ideas how to repair studs without removing plumbing?
