The Harvard India Student Group (HISG) is a university wide student group comprising of undergraduate and graduate students interested in India, across the different schools at Harvard. Our primary aim is to provide a platform for greater communication and collaboration amongst the students and faculty on India-related topics. Moreover, HISG focuses on developing a tight-knit student and alumni community and promoting India and its culture at Harvard.

The South Asia Institute and the Harvard India Student Group are pleased to host a panel discussion with Akhilesh Yadav, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Azam Khan, Urban Development Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Abhishek Mishra, Minister – CM Office on Friday, April 26th, from 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm on HBS campus. The conversation will cover topics such as governance in Uttar Pradesh, major initiatives being run, urbanization challenges, and how Harvard students can engage to contribute to the Indian society. We very much hope that you can join us.

Tea and Snacks would be served starting at 3:30 pm and the program will begin promptly at 3:45 pm. If you would like to attend, please RSVP using the link given below. Seating is limited and invites with details would be sent out on first come first serve basis. So hurry up!
