BostonCIO is excited to be at Novara’s Beyond Mapping User Conference in Austin this week to announce our partnership with Novara GeoSolutions, a CHA Company, to integrate and jointly market our BostonCOMPLY – Practical Compliance Automation™ platform as part of the Novara 360° framework.

BostonCOMPLY – Practical Compliance Automation™ uses a hybrid consulting and subscription-based, SaaS platform to deliver a comprehensive IT compliance program addressing legal and regulatory demands facing a broad range of organizations and industries as well as operational support to help our clients maintain compliance over time. BostonCOMPLY combines BostonCIO professional services, Practical Compliance Program (P*P) content library, Practical Compliance Training (PCT) video course library, and our purpose-built SaaS platform, Practical Compliance Automation™ (PCA) to rapidly deliver comprehensive and maintainable compliance programs for our customers.

BostonCIO has been able to make a significant charitable contribution to the causes that speak to each of us. We do this by forgoing annual food baskets, cards, pens, flashlights and other typical corporate holiday gifts to clients. Instead we hand out signed checks to the staff at our holiday party and let each individual donate as they see fit. Through this simple gesture and corporate sponsorships, in recent years we have given over $30,000 to various important causes.

BostonCIO is excited to be partnering with the Boston Athletic Association/Boston Marathon as we pursue the organization’s forward path and technology transformation that is underway. It is rewarding to be doing great work with great clients within our namesake CIO practice area while we continue to expand our CTO services offering and build upon the successful launch of BostonCOMPLY (www.BostonCOMPLY.com)

2015 was a great year for BostonCIO as we again expanded in every direction adding clients, partners, practice areas and consultants. We had our holiday party this past Saturday evening. It was a great opportunity to meet spouses and connect. While we somehow did not manage to get a group photo, we were able to continue and expand on the charity initiative we began last year. By foregoing client and partner gifts and cards, we were able to distribute thousands of dollars to worthy charities. Specifically, each consultant was given a signed check with blank payee to fill out and distribute as they wish. We are so pleased that this year’s checks were 2 ½ times larger and the total donation tripled reflecting both the good year and growth in the number of consultants. Early indications are that 2016 will be another growth year and we look forward to a similar expansion of this giving.
