Cambridge Community Center

Thank you to for recognizing CCC’s current work as well as for investing in our future. Ayanna’s office recently helped us secure $1 million in funding for the Center’s Resilience Hub project. This money will now allow us to purchase and install rooftop solar panels, emergency generator, and battery — all critical components in establishing a clean, resilient energy system at CCC.

We hope that this project will not only become a model for other Resilience Hub across the country, but also for what true collaboration between the federal government and local grassroots organizations can look like.

We were honored to have Rep. Pressley visit CCC this past Wednesday to talk about this partnership as well as her broad vision of a better future for our community and our country as a whole. Thank you also to Mayor for discussing CCC’s historic role in Cambridge and for moderating the Q&A with community members. We’re incredibly grateful to have these women as leaders in troubled times, and will continue to turn to them for guidance, courage, and hope in the years to come.
