Sourcework is dedicated to public engagement with vocal polyphony of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries from original notation. Our ensemble is comprised of singers, organists, instrumentalists, and music researchers. Sourcework returns this week to Spain, reprising a program of music by Sebastián de Vivanco for a concert and recording in the beautiful Cathedral of Salamanca. We collaborate once again with Ensemble La Danserye and Schola Antiqua to present this beautiful music in the city and church where Vivanco worked for much of his career. Join us at Salamanca’s stunning Catedral Vieja on Saturday 22 February at 20:00 for this free concert, and watch for updates on release of the recording from Odradek Records!
