We are off to an incredible start this year, and these past four months have been filled with so much laughter, everyday play, and amazing growth across all of our programs! Whether students are in our Hebrew speakers track or our Hebrew as a Second Language groups, seeing their fluency and confidence take root is exactly what our mishpacha program is all about. Across our different levels and classes, the kids are doing a fantastic job building their vocabulary and reaching new milestones. Our beginners have been busy mastering all 12 colors and practicing their print and script letters. Meanwhile, our more advanced learners have even dived into modern Hebrew literature, starting with Etgar Keret’s short stories! We've loved seeing everyone engage with immersive, hands-on projects, from celebrating Thanksgiving with a Toda song, to bringing the OR of Hanukkah into our classrooms with an exciting escape room. Between reviewing roots and vowels, solving word puzzles together, and exploring the winter season through music, there is truly something special happening in every single class. Together, we are building a beautiful, supportive community of learners, and we just can’t wait for all the exciting moments still ahead!

Happy Hebrew Language Day! 🥳
We celebrated the vibrant legacy of our language by honoring Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, the visionary who revived many of the everyday words we use. We discovered that familiar words around us were actually given new life through his remarkable dedication.
Our celebration featured engaging posters that showcased the richness of Hebrew, along with lively discussions about common language words ( גְּלִידָה, רַכֶּבֶת, אוֹפַנַּיִם)
We also had a hands-on session decoding Hebrew alternatives for foreign words—think “סִימְלוֹן” “קַלְקְלָן,” and “מִצְּלֶּה.” 😊
We wrapped up the day with an inspiring video and a quiz about Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, leaving us with a deeper appreciation for our beautiful and cherished language.
Until next time…

End-of-Year Celebration Activities:
"Who Wrote What?" Challenge: Parents joined us to guess their child's answers to questions like, "What did I learn this year?", "Funniest thing that happened to me this year?", and "What I loved most this year in Hebrew?", topped off with sweet ice-cream.🍦
