Kyren Lacy was 25 years old. A young Black man with his whole life ahead of him. Days before he was set to stand trial for a crash he did not cause, Kyren took his own life.

Now the truth is out: Kyren was more than 100 yards behind the actual collision. The driver responsible: a white woman who lied to authorities. Bystanders confirmed what really happened. Yet instead of pursuing the truth, police turned off their body cameras and upheld the lie. They charged Kyren anyway.

This is not an isolated incident. It is a reflection of a system built to protect whiteness and criminalize Blackness, no matter the facts.

False accusations, police collusion, and institutional cover-ups are not anomalies; they are standard operating procedure in a society where white lies carry more weight than Black lives.

Kyren’s spirit was crushed long before any verdict could be read. And now, his name joins a devastating list of Black people driven to despair by a legal system designed to break us.

It’s too late now. He’s gone. And once again, America demands that we call this “justice.”

But there is no justice here: only a cycle of lies, white tears, and Black death.

This system will never save us. We must save each other.

Pray for his family. Speak his name. Organize for a future where this never happens again.

Liberation Movement Copyright & Integrity Statement

The Liberation Movement builds original revolutionary education. Every lesson, slide, structure, and social media post, and outline within the Black Liberation Studies Digital Course is the product of years of study, discipline, and commitment to our people’s freedom.

History is for everyone.
Knowledge is for everyone.
Learning is for everyone.

But the format, delivery, and framework we created is unique to The Liberation Movement. It belongs to the struggle that birthed it.

We have seen non-educators, churches, and organizations attempting to pass off our work as their own.

This is theft. It is a betrayal of the very liberation you claim to serve.

The Liberation Movement protects our intellectual work with the same seriousness we protect our communities.
• Our course and materials are legally copyrighted.
• Any unauthorized replication, redistribution, or repackaging will be treated as infringement.
• Any snake who steals our work will be addressed as such.

We do not build for clout. We build for liberation.

Respect the work.

Respect the Movement.

Respect the people.

Sun Stand Still: It's Time To Hunt 05/16/2025

If violence were only a thing of the future, if exploitation and oppression never existed on earth, perhaps displays of nonviolence might relieve the conflict. But if the entire regime, even your nonviolent thoughts, is governed by a thousand-year old oppression, your passiveness serves no other purpose but to put you on the side of the oppressors.

The days of living as prey must come to an end. We must remember how to hunt, gather, grow and build together.

Sun Stand Still: It's Time To Hunt Fred Chavis | The Liberation Movement"The government is responsible for the violence, as long as they don't stop it. And if we have to get violent to protect ourselves, then it's the government that should be charged with the crime, because we're only upholding a law that they've been unable to upho...
