Had a chance to meet Miranda Russell of Russell Orchards in Ipswitch, MA today!

Russell Orchards has been cranking out hot and tasty cider donuts for decades based on the same recipe that the family invented from scratch in the 70s. It’s flavorful, moist, springy, as well as plain and un-sugared, which is far from the norm. It’s not overly fried and not overly sweet which some might be seeking, but not the Cider Donuteur. This is the kind of donut that makes you want to savor and experience it with a hot drink on a cold day, earning it my vote for best cider donut.

I’ve been recommending folks come to Russell for years and this is the first time i’ve met the folks behind the scenes. They’re good people, bringing joy to thousands (millions?) of guests over the years and deserve a donut cheers 🥂 🍩 💜
