It's that time of year, and we have a big weekend ahead, so it's time for our annual reminder:
PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE WILDIFE! Please share to spread the message!
We assure you, that fawn you found tucked into the grass, curled up and silent, was left intentionally by their mother. You see, fawns are nearly scentless, and by leaving her fawn safely behind, the doe can head out to the best food to make sure those littles get proper nutrition. Doing this allows her to keep her fawn mostly safe from predators,
If you find one, just walk away! Even cooler, back off a couple hundred yards downwind with your favorite Burris Optics binoculars and watch the show when the doe returns!
