The frustration and absolute betrayal he expressed when he tried to use his right foot (non-dominant) to kick the ball. A 2 year-old is NOT one to have patience with a broken leg in a boot.
[It’s now been almost 4 weeks since Xandyr twisted his leg going down a slide, resulting in a superficial spiral fracture. He went about 2 weeks without walking at all. Today? He’s finally out of the boot and running like normal!]

The good news is my literally SAVED my drink.
The bad news? It is time to retire this one since it no longer sits flat. 😭
[For context: I was hurrying to load all the kids in to take my teen to work and I completely spaced that I set my unopened drink on the tonneau cover while buckling in my 2 younger boys in their car seats. I didn’t realize until I dropped my daughter off at work that my drink wasn’t in my console holder! Immediate panic, looked on the tonneau cover, in the backseat, on the floor, but it was nowhere. I got home and looked all the way on my street and in yards, then searched my house and still no drink. So, wouldn’t ya know, pulled up my doorbell cam and it showed that I definitely left the drink on the cover. 🤦🏼♀️ Loaded the boys back up and went out on a mission to find my drink. Finally found it! It had stayed on the tonneau cover the entire time from backing out of my driveway, driving down the street. Turning into another street. And then it apparently flew off when I turned onto the faster road. She was just hanging out in the gravel, luckily not run over yet!]
