It started simply, with a few people around a table in Detroit, sharing ideas and building friendships through peer-to-peer learning. But something remarkable happened: what worked in one community worked everywhere. Today, PJL brings Jews together across cities, countries, and continents. From living rooms in Baltimore to virtual gatherings spanning time zones, we've proven that the power of learning together transcends borders.

What hasn't changed is the heart of it all: two people, a text, a conversation, and the sacred bond that forms when we truly learn from one another.
