Blaine Festival
We spend countless hours and days, working to bring smiles to the faces of everyone at the Blaine Parade. 🎉🎉🎉

Last year, we built a float that would last for years to come. People see us coming from blocks away, and many look forward to receiving one of our stuffed animals.💜

It’s a huge amount of work behind the scenes that most people never see. This year, we had 1,300 donated stuffed animals. We spent countless hours attaching tags to every single one. We also paid for storage all year to keep them safe, made multiple trips throughout the year as donations came in, and then had just one day to haul everything out and load our "claw machine" for the parade. 🎉

Sadly, not every small child (our target audience) received a stuffed animal this year. We may have had enough stuffed animals, but we had fewer volunteers than in previous years. It was also extremely hot, and our volunteers were doing everything they could to keep up with the pace of the parade while handing out as many stuffed animals as possible. ☀️

Our team proudly worked incredibly hard, volunteered their time, and gave everything they had to create a fun, memorable experience for families.
To everyone who supported us, smiled, waved, volunteered, or simply said "thank you"—you reminded us why we do this. We appreciate you more than you know.💜

We are super happy that Jameson and Patrick have been adopted and TOGETHER!! 💙💙They have been with us since March 17th, St Pattys day when we found them at a 42 cat hoarding case in Hinckley MN! ☘️☘️ they were ALL gingers and of course got Irish Names!

Laila was also adopted to someone with a young kitten who needed a friend! 💕

Alfonzo is doing so well and much better in foster! Fostering really does save lives 💙
