Terry Myers HVAC/ Electrical
Tee’s Tech Tip:
A properly ventilated attic will help keep your indoor temperature more comfortable and helps keep your HVAC System from running too long causing more cost to you on your energy bill. Give us a call to discuss the possibilities of helping you lower your energy bill and help keep your home more comfortable during the brutal heat that’s heading this way.
Tees Tech Tip:
As the temperature begins to climb and we switch from Heat to Cooling make sure you adjust your temperature on your Thermostat modestly. Set your temperature at a comfortable temperature you can live with. Remember, a proper operating HVAC System will only cool 20 degrees below the outdoor dry bulb temperature. When it’s 95 degrees your unit will cool to 75 degrees indoors, if you have a well insulated home and a properly maintained unit, you will get a better than 20 degree drop, but that is dependent upon several factors. Call us if you have any questions or concerns, we are here to help and serve.
Tees Tech Tip:
Have your HVAC System Cleaned and Checked twice a year. Whether you have a conventional straight cooling with gas heat or a Heat Pump, the coils need to washed and flushed out to remove buildup inside the coil fins. On a Heat Pump this helps for cooling or heating and on a straight air it helps with cooling. Airflow is critical whether it’s inside or outside. Call us to take care of you or your local HVAC company.
