π₯ How to Do the Paper Throw Shot πΈποΈ

1οΈβ£ Get Your Light Right
Iβm using one strobe light with the front light off to the side at an angle. Simple setup but it makes a big difference.
β
2οΈβ£ Bring Your Friends
Youβll need 2 or 3 friends. Everybody needs a good amount of paper in their hands.
β
3οΈβ£ Set Your Camera Mode
Switch that camera to Continuous High+ so you can snap a burst and catch the motion clean.
β
4οΈβ£ Hereβs What I Used
Shutter speed: 1/250 to freeze the paper
Aperture: f/1.4 for that depth
ISO: Boosted to balance the strobe
Strobe was on low power so it could keep up with how fast the camera was shooting
β
5οΈβ£ Show Your Friends the Shots
Let them see what itβs looking like as you go.
Theyβll help adjust and clean it up, makes the shot way better.
