Riley ROCKS

Her spirit joined a community and inspired many. Riley passed away on July 20, 2016 at the age of nine. On May 22nd, 2013, Riley (age 6) was brought to her doctor's office with the following symptoms: runny nose, swollen glands and swollen left eye. May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month. This month we honor Riley and her strength. At one point during her treatment she had over 7 brain tumors, this photo captures a moment no one should have to endure, yet Riley faced it with a bravery that continues to inspire us. We remember her not for her illness, but for her light, her resilience, and the impact she left on everyone around her. In Riley’s memory, we stand with all those affected by cancer and we continue to raise awareness, support research, and hold space for hope.
