The Musical Ark is the realization of a long-time dream of artist Michael Brolly. Nearly three decades in the making, the concept first inspired Brolly in graduate school: can humans communicate with whales? After hundreds of years of hunt and slaughter, it's time for an apology. Brolly hopes to accomplish this by reaching out to the species with music from a seaborne cello, the Sephira. Find out more about Brolly's art here: http://www.michaelbrolly.com/
