Historic Delights

Welcome to some new visitors! Pictures of designed earrings don’t go up very often but I do have a batch that I just have to photograph and get up on the pages. A few years back I was going to events and setting up an 11 x 11 tent with at least five full cases of earrings and necklaces and sleep buttons which are also known as cufflinks in the modern age. Maybe in the future I will be back but I’m going a little small slow right now because I take care of my stepdad full-time who lives with me and has dementia. So look for those new earrings to be posted soon. I believe that all of them are Timeless Delights which means they’re kind of modern.

Hey, thanks for all the new likes. We’re almost at 1,500 page likes. Exciting for me!

Some of you know that the past couple of years I have been caregiving for my stepdad who is now 102 and came to live with me after my mother’s funeral. I am still able to design earrings for people and I absolutely love to do that custom work, but at the moment I don’t have plans to go out to event.

SO, if you’ve been thinking about wanting a new pair of earrings to go with a particular top or dress please contact me by email. When I do custom work for someone, after having a conversation to find out exactly what is desired, I then start pulling things from my stock and take pictures and send pictures to you to continue the conversation before the final design is made. So please don’t hesitate to contact me if custom earrings would work for you. 

If I really had lived in the 18th century, as a woman, I would not be able to vote. We are very blessed that women can vote and you don’t have to own property like you did in the 18th century. So please, get out and exercise your right to vote if you haven’t already.

And thank you for the new likes and new followers on this page. As many of you know, I am taking care of an elderly family member in my home and also because of Covid I’m just not getting out there to full weekend events the past few years. But that does not mean that I am not designing earrings - especially custom ones.  I have loved what I do for 15 years now and had been designing jewelry for my family members before that.
