What does it mean to provide food access? More that it seems...Food access relates to a person's ability to obtain and consume adequate, nutritious food. It means they have nearby grocery stores, reliable transportation, and the ability to choose what they eat, regardless of socioeconomic factors. We break it down more in this week's blog! We teamed up with to create a scalable food recovery solution for corporations, and share resources to support those efforts. One year later, we've got 10 clients on board in companies across the U.S., all able to adopt more sustainable practices by donating surplus meals from office caterings, and support their local communities. This holiday season, we partnered with TAO Group Hospitality to bring over 300 healthy and delicious meals from TAO Downtown to organizations in New York City. It's the kind of food we all deserve and want to eat.
Thanks to Tao for doing an extra good deed to support our communities.
