We are excited to announce that we are rebranding as Muse Kinetics.

In the past several years Keith McMillen Instruments has undergone substantial changes while introducing new features, colors, and software updates to an enhanced product lineup. We have made significant improvements in the core technology, quality control and customer service, all with the goal of amplifying the potential of our instruments.

The company’s new name, Muse Kinetics, embodies the dynamic relationship between musicians and their instruments. Muse Kinetics is what we practice as musicians, and the instruments that we make are all designed to measure force, and respond to creative gestures and articulated motions that are inspired and give inspiration to others.

We understand the delicate timing of this announcement. With Keith’s blessing we had begun work on rebranding the company earlier this year, and new Muse Kinetics product had just started arriving at our warehouse a few weeks before Keith’s unexpected and sudden passing.

As we move forward without Keith, we are profoundly grateful for the foundation he laid. We stand on his shoulders, striving to continue his legacy of inspiring creativity and innovation through our musical instruments.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith McMillen.
