Did you hear the government shut down?
In the Bay Area, minimum wage is not a livable wage.
More often then not, working folks need a bit of support in the way of SNAP federal dollars to help cover the cost of food, and we all know healthy food is most costly then ultra processed.
This November, we have TWO ways The Table Catering is raising funds for Oakland community members who could use a few extra meals this month, because we are committed to providing food for EVERYONE around the table.

This week we are featuring Chef Peter's Pistachio Pesto Tossed Broccoli Salad
Open your mind to pesto beyond basil and pine nuts!
We grind in house pistachio pesto, subbing out pine nuts for pistachio and grind it down with fresh basil and add vinegar and not lemon juice. The pesto then also becomes dressing that when tossed in with broccoli gets all trapped in its florets and won’t let go. We cook exclusively with extra virgin olive oil rich in nutrients and antioxidants with numerous health benefits.
