Nicole Roggow
this hit me today after Murphy asked to come lift with me today when I said I was going out to the garage.
how many days of her life (and all my kids) did I head out into the garage with them thinking “let’s see what they let me do today” knowing I would likely need to pause, rock, feed them, or sometimes abandon my workout altogether.
now they’re old enough, more self sufficient, and I’m confident I won’t have to do any of those things but they’re still here and it’s a different conversation. one of “can I join you?” “show me how!” “is this you do this?”
your reminder that it matters. even when it’s hard, even when it would be easier not to, even when you’re not sure what you’ll be able to accomplish today.
one day it’ll be easier and in the process you’re laying the foundation for both of you, together 🤍
