In March, 2020, leaders from Hopewell Valley Regional School District, Hopewell Township, Hopewell Borough, Pennington Borough, and the HV YMCA came together out of concern for those who would be severely impacted by the economic downturn caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. In response to this crisis, they created the Hopewell Valley Mobile Food Pantry to serve anyone in Hopewell Valley who was experiencing food insecurity.

Since then, the Pantry has provided groceries and fresh produce to over 300 families in the Hopewell Valley and continues to serve more than 100 families each week. In a little more than 2 ½ years, they have delivered more than 400,000 pounds of food to their neighbors in need. This wouldn’t be possible without the amazing support of the entire Hopewell Valley Community. Individuals, religious groups, & non-profits have all pitched in by volunteering, dropping off food, running food drives & making donations. The Pantry is an all-volunteer organization and it's committed to serving the community until food insecurity is no more.
