Keep the Pink! Dark teal, fuchsia, & orange/camel. Just because a color isn’t in your palette doesn’t mean it’s off limits. If you have items you love, keep them and use them! This gorgeous fuchsia bag is a Dark Winter hue, which shares the same dark value that dark autumn has. It’s gorgeous with this dark teal color, and as an accessory it won’t throw your coloring off. The orange headband is closer to true Autumn palette, but it also looks great. The more you buy outside your palette, the more your items may not coordinate, but some will! So my point is, don’t throw away things you love because you can probably still find a way to use them. And - if you love a color that isn’t in your palette, don’t be sad that you can “never”‘wear it again! I love this gorgeous fuchsia and this bag makes me happy. I also have a few other bags outside my palette in colors I love, and it’s fun to wear them. This is all tools, not rules. Do I also love wearing my Dark Autumn palette? Yes! I wear it most of the time because I know it’s my best, but the world won’t collapse if you aren’t perfect about it! Have fun and enjoy 🩷🩷🩷

Baci Bella! Cinnamon, rosewood, & dark indigo. Sometimes I just want to wear a t-shirt and shorts. I love to dress up, but when I’m not feeling it, I don’t do it. This was an unusual color combo and I like it. I got this tee on Sézane sale and it’s great for TA & DA. I almost added a rosewood bag, but decided on the rosewood Birkenstock sandals instead. I often get so excited about colors that I have to check myself and not go overboard so then I end up looking dumb! I found this top for sale and I’ll send the link in my stories. Maybe this can inspire you for other outfits. The dark denim is a nice alternative to straight black, although I did add a black purse which I think looks great. Enjoy! 😉 ❤️😘

Meet Danielle. A Dark Autumn client of mine, and can we just talk about how rich these colors look on her?
She loves party planning, chasing new places (wannabe New Englander at heart, anything coastal has her attention), and getting lost in a good true crime podcast. Big, warm, grounded energy - and her palette matches her perfectly. Deep, earthy, saturated tones that have all the richness of fall without ever looking dull.
Her favorite part since discovering her colors? She said it herself: she loves that she can mix and match things because the colors just work together. That’s the whole magic of knowing your palette. No more guessing, no more “does this go with that” - just grab and go, and it all coordinates.
Dark Autumn, you are stunning!

It’s a Wrap! A wrap skirt from Amazon with navy, orange, light blue, and cream. The fun thing about slowly collecting closet items in your palette - they all mix and match! I couldn’t decide which top to pair with this skirt. I loved them all. I tried orange, cream, light blue, and brick. In the end I just picked one and moved on. This also went great with a pair of denim flats. Started with these platform sandals for color analysis appointment and then swapped to flats for errands afterwards. Everything is Dark Autumn except the orange bag is True Autumn. Enjoy! XOXO 💋

Sunday Patio Yoga featuring apple green (DA) and heliotrope (TA) with cream to top it off. I got this inspo from a pretty Thai lunch dish. Grab a yoga mat and find a pretty spot outside to nurture your spirit! XOXO 💋

Maggie! She glows in the Soft Summer palette. She is dedicated to her family and also loves her church. We had the best time playing with blush and lipstick colors. I cannot get over how fabulous her hair is. The color compliments her and gives the most timeless beautiful look. Maggie you’re the sweetest!

Meet Kelsey, a Soft Summer beauty and mom to two kiddos who is one of the most easygoing people I get to drape.
A little about her: she loves Jesus, sings worship music, plays guitar, and puts loving and serving her family at the top of her priority list. Right now she has “You Are My Life” by Michael Jackson on repeat.
Kelsey came in at 6am, the only way I could get her in before her hair appointment. She has tried pretty much every hair color under the sun and really needed direction on finding the shade that actually works with her natural coloring.
In her own words: “I enjoy knowing my colors because it helps me be more intentional about what I choose for my wardrobe, hair, and makeup. My colors have helped me feel more confident because they compliment the natural beauty that God has given me.”
That’s the whole idea behind color analysis. It’s not about changing who you are, it’s about giving you the tools to feel confident in it.
So happy for you, Kelsey. Soft Summer looks so good on you, cutie pie!

Zipping Around! When I’m in a rush and not sure what to wear, a dress always works. It takes the least amount of thought and planning. Throw it on, and you’re good to go. This cutie zip dress came from a Nuuly rental. I wore it for a color appointment and for another lunch date with my daughter. I’m on the fence as to whether or not I want to keep it! You could have a different look by changing the shoes up. I kept my trusted Charlie Sneex sandal heels on because I need the height when doing drapes, and they were comfortable for all day running around! Enjoy! xoxo
