Before BRANWYN was BRANWYN, the brand was called Stay
GLDN, inspired by the line “stay gold” from The Outsiders. For our co-founder, Shawna, it became a family mantra growing up
- “everything’s going to be okay if you just stay true to who you are.” 🫶

That message sat at the heart of the brand from the beginning, a women-led reminder of self-trust and strength.

Stay GLDN launched the very first Merino underwear prototype at a time when synthetic, restrictive options were causing irritation for so many women. Shawna was a nurse-in-training
who had seen through many patients how non-breathable underwear can affect our intimate areas.

She knew there had to be something different: naturally breathable, moisture-wicking Merino in silhouettes actually designed for a woman’s body. Seamless, non-restrictive, supportive... and better for us! 🍑

As we have changed and grown over the years, the spirit of Stay Golden has remained with us 💛
