I have been making jewelry for over 15 years and love the creativity that comes with the influences of fashion and working with different metals. I have chosen to work with brass and aluminum for most of my designs because it keeps the product affordable and lightweight. I like wearing larger earrings, but I don't want to feel like I am being dragged down by heavy jewelry.
The ear wire I use is either silver-plated copper or brass (nickel free). It is possible to get earrings with sterling silver or gold fill ear wire for an additional charge if you are sensitive to base metals.
