Uncommon Luxury: 1977-79 Lincoln Continental Town Car Williamsburg

The standout distinction of the Williiamsburg edition is its light-over-dark two-tone paint scheme—the only Lincoln Continental of its time to be offered this way. Often overshadowed by the showier Designer Series Marks IV & V, the Williamsburg went about about its business more subtly; a full vinyl roof and solid C-pillar (half-roof and opera windows optional in ‘77; opera windows were made standard for ‘78), power vent windows and six-way power Twin Comfort Lounge Seats in velour or leather completed this special package

They called it "Deep Sherwood"... I call it "Envy Green" ~ 1974 Imperial LeBaron by Chrysler (this one's sporting a '75 grille but the black steering wheel, ribbed velour cloth and solid front bumper without air intakes are all earmarks of the '74)
