The Curious Design

ken Fingers and quickly moved into the role of Art Director and became an integral part of branding the quickly growing restaurant chain. Her style of bringing together strategy and design helped build some of the companies most memorable and successful campaigns to date, including Lemonade Rocks and The Box That Rocks. Katie also designed many key in-store elements including the menu boards, and new product packaging and displays for Cane's first ever airport location that included a new line of special products. As Art Director for Maxon Media, a design firm specializing in web design and development, Katie gained valuable knowledge of designing for multimedia as well as print and advertising. Katie had the opportunity to work with and develop award winning campaigns for clients such as Volunteer Louisiana, Cox Communication, Cox Sports Television, Louisiana Youth For Excellence, Bowl For The Cure, St. Thomas More Catholic School, St. Joseph's Academy, and Christ The King Presbyterian Church in Houston. In October of 2011, Katie moved to New Orleans and began designing full time as an independent designer. She has three cats, loves painting, photography and a great cup of coffee.
