Joshua Lee - Touring/Session Drummer

Yesterday, we lost one of the all-time greats to have ever graced the drum throne. Legendary BLONDIE drummer, Clem Burke, has sadly passed away at 70 after succumbing to cancer. From his innovative, swing-driven, pummeling drumming style, while mixing the likes of disco, rock, and powerpop to his resume of collaborations with numerous fellow artists(The Eurythmics, Iggy Pop, The Romantics, Dramarama, etc.), Clem was a true rockstar by definition. Not only as a drummer, generally, but Clem’s overall presentation on stage has remained highly influential to me personally in how I’ve always even configured my own drum kit(with the toms and cymbals angled flat)… loooooong before Travis Barker, kids!😌 Clem, you were truly one of a kind, mate.⚡️🥁⚡️ R.I.P.😢
