Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication will never be forgotten.
This Memorial Day, the Blue Star Mothers of Louisiana once again hosted the Memorial Day Garden of Flags on the grounds of the Louisiana State Capital. Each flag placed in the field represents a hero - a son, daughter, husband, wife, family member, or friend - who gave their life in service to our nation. Walking through the Garden is a powerful and solemn reminder that freedom is not free. ❤️
If you have the opportunity, take a moment to visit this beautiful tribute, attend a local ceremony, or simply pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by so many for the freedoms we enjoy every day.
From all of us at Baton Rouge Cardiology Center, we extend our deepest gratitude to our fallen heroes, Gold Star Families, military families, and all who continue to serve our nation with honor.
