How lucky am I to have been able to see my kids smiling faces come home from the bus, from school, this afternoon?
How lucky am I to have found a noodle in my washing machine?
How lucky am I to have lost track of my son in the house for 20 minutes knowing he was close.
He was alive.
He survived school.
How lucky am I to know we can put our kids to sleep tonight. Tuck them in tight, scratch their backs, and read just one more chapter.
