Minerva Experiment
MINERvA seeks to measure low energy neutrino interactions both in support of neutrino oscillation experiments and also to study the strong dynamics of the nucleon and nucleus that affect these interactions. MINERvA is looking forward to a run in a new high energy neutrino beam beginning in summer 2013. Higher energies and rates will allow us to measure the analog of the "EMC effect" in neutrinos which should shed light on the dynamics of this nuclear modification of nucleon.

Congratulations to Anežka for a great talk on Antineutrino Inclusive Charged Current Cross sections as a function of atomic number! So nice to be able to celebrate at the Users Center with the extended MINERvA Family!

Congratulations to Ryan for making MINERvA’s first and only medium energy oscillation measurement with huge muon and electron neutrino statistics, rare samples, and MINERvA’s high standards for treating systematic uncertainties.

Once a MINERvAn, always a MINERvAn. Hard to beat Chicago style pizza...
