My business story is a personal one. They say not to take your business personally. But what do they know about me and my business? I was the person that walked sidewalks and knocked on doors, and started a business with 3 children in tow. I started Spirit Corner way back in 2004. Back when I had to use DIAL-UP internet. There was only one other company on the internet that sold what Spirit Corner did at the time.
I learned how to build a website from scratch using HTML coding, learned how to optimize my site and products to get number-one listings in the search engines, and ordered, printed, shipped, and filled orders by myself for the first 9 years. We slowly added seasonal workers, and other stay-at-home moms, and we worked around each other's schedules. 1/2 the garage was turned into a shop. Everything was going SUPER GREAT until March 2020.
Our bread & butter is EVENTS. We were doing great in 2020 and were all set to have our best event year ever. We had events planned almost every weekend. BIG events (for us). Conference track meets, County Championship meets, Sectional Meets, Invitational Meets.... then COVID hit. Everything got canceled. We had already purchased much of the apparel and printed transfers. It was devastating. But what was more devastating was the loss of events for the next 2+ years.
We finally came back in 2023, but with less staff (just me and my family) so back to our roots and beginning. Starting over. As we navigate what lies ahead, I just want you to know that I LOVE designing and creating apparel screenprints and design work. If you need anything to be designed, please let me know. If you are looking for a web store for your school or team, we can do that, too!
