my willingness to take risks has been both an asset and a shortcoming throughout my life (see: applying to and being cast on a reality competition tv show and quitting 3 days in - and staying off social media for 2 years due to the backlash). see also: spontaneously (impulsively) deciding to start a private practice in 2019 and a group practice in 2022. now, i get to offer a safe and compassionate workplace for more than 30 therapists that do incredible work with 600+ clients. i always keep in mind that we are allowed to change our mind. we are able to walk through fear and pain and shame and perceived failure and still stand tall. we are also able to walk through our own successes and triumphs and celebrate them. if we don't take risks, we won't ever have the opportunity to vulnerably step into our potential. oops this is a long caption i don't know if this is something you can do on instagram but thanks for coming to my ted talk.
