I am actually speechless about this. My journey with dance has been one of many ups and downs. I honestly never thought I would be nominated for such an award, but I am so deeply honored and grateful! I’m so grateful for all of the dance and movement teachers who have helped me get here today, Kenyatta Hardison (yes, you count as one, lol), Maria Broom, Susan Taylor, Shannon Glasgow, Stephanie Powell, Yvette Shipley-perkins, Andrew Dove, Mary Corsaro, Amy Walker O'Brien, Lindsay Gilmour, Elizabeth Livesay, Norman W Johnson Jr, Susannah Berryman, and so many other amazing teachers along the journey! Arturo Lyons & Omari Oricci Wiles, I can’t thank YOU TWO ENOUGH! I’m GAGGING! 🫶🏽🐈‍⬛🪩
