The Baltimore Sun dissolved its features department Monday, reassigning its staff to news departments – the first time since at least 1888 the newspaper won’t have even one reporter dedicated to covering the city’s cultural life.

What if there was a musical about Songwriters? Well there is!
This one focuses on Carole King and her contemporaries. They work in a song factory competing to write for pop groups. It tells their true stories.
I actually saw the Broadway version a few years back, and preferred this one. I saw this show a few weeks ago.
It was my first time at Olney Theater. They brought in some NYC and LA performers and I happened to follow one. And saw sh was in Maryland for it.
