It feels so great to be back in the DMV, especially for such an incredible reason.

Tomorrow night’s show at The Howard Theatre will bring together some of our area’s most impressive artists, and I’m so honored and inspired to be a part of this.

This show has been run by the artists. Every single person involved in this is so talented and hardworking and have put their all into this work.

We had our rehearsal together last night and I was so blown away by it all.

This will be my first live orchestral performance. I’m debuting some forthcoming work for AudioPorn Records that’s coming down the pipeline.

This is something I’ve dreamed of for so long, and it is such a gift to have the opportunity to live that dream- ESPECIALLY with the team we have.

We are lead by Andre Leonard, who is one of the most gifted and accomplished conductors, composers, and pianists I’ve ever met. He is one of my best friends and I can’t gush enough about him.

My partner Greg has managed our team, all the logistics, and is doing our lighting. Oh, and one of the tunes is one of our collabs. He is truly my better half, and I’m so happy to have him here.

My new tunes tunes feature Andre, Greg, and Kara Levchenko, who absolutely smashed her vocals. Andres Diaz arranged them for the Washington Conservatory of Music Chamber Orchestra, and I will be honored to have Sara Henya, Hue Dat Band, Heru The Trap Violinist, Andre, Kara, (and maybe some others??? 👀) join me to bring my music to a new life for our show’s finale.

We are also blessed to have choreograph and lead a beautiful team of dancers along to all of our music.

And I CERTAINLY can’t forget Kevin, whose support has made our dreams a reality.

It is a truly beautiful thing for me to see this. This show has been run and created by each and every one of us, and I truly cannot thank everyone for all for their work over these past few months.

These are some of the most impressive and diverse set of musicians I’ve ever seen brought together in one place, and I’ve never seen anything like this in my life.

So, I hope if you are around and want to support us tomorrow night, that you come through to do so.
